Over the years I’ve written many pieces, painted pictures, created cakes and enjoyed making and mending clothes for others. I enjoy creation and feel closest to God when I am out in the bush, especially where there is water.
Coming along side others has been a special delight. Young people, women and children, and even the occasional man. Speaking at functions as God has willed and directed has been a joy. Prayer is an extremely important part of my life.
In 2001, I began a women’s ministry in the Church where we worshiped. I started writing a newsletters to be given to women quarterly as they came to the Ladies’ Programme. It grew very quickly from 50 to well over 100, as they started asking for more to hand out to others. Eventually, other women joined me in this task in 2004, changing the format to a beautifully printed magazine called “The Heart of a Woman Inc.” I edited the magazine for seven years until it closed due to God’s direction.
In 2013, I graduated from Emmaus Bible College in Sydney with a Diploma of Christian Studies. I loved studying the Bible in a formal setting, and the spiritual connections and conversations with fellow students helped me greatly through the grieving process after my beloved husband, whom the Lord called home in 2009.
Now I feel deep in my soul that it is time to share my jottings, my stories, devotions, poems and Bible studies. It has blessed me abundantly to write and share, and I hope and pray that you will also be blessed by the things you find on this site.
My Testimony will tell you how I found God.
